About Us
ICF began in 1997 on the University campus in a not so likely place. A few students got together one day and decided that they wanted to make an effort to spread the Word of God to their fellow peers. Since then, ICF has grown into an Student Association funded recognized Student Organization.
We have weekly meetings where we gather to pray, worship, have fellowship and learn more about God and the Bible with students throughout the Capital District. We are a nondenominational group that is only led by the Bible and Jesus Christ. We are open to everybody and welcome all with open arms and a smile.
Please feel free to check us out, ask questions and explore our faith. Besides weekly fellowship meetings, we also provide rides to church on Sunday morning! We also volunteer in the community, such as taking part in soup kitchens. A big part of our group is having fellowship with one another, which we do by spending lots of quality time together. We eat, study, hang out, spend lots of nights playing various games, watching movies, weekly bowling, playing sports, having picnics and other fun activities, which all are free to join us for whenever they please or have time.
ICF will continue to pursue the path laid for them by previous members and will take steps to help others learn more about salvation through Christ. Many come in as strangers, but soon become part of our close knit family where we take care of each other, help each other and build each other up as true brothers and sisters in Christ. We once again welcome you to check us out and as Jesus said, come just as you are. = )
